Established in 2000
West Kirby Taekwondo opened with a spectacular demonstration performed by local instructors and some fellow students for the local residents. Since that opening event, West Kirby Taekwondo has gone on to become one of the most successful Martial arts schools in the Wirral, producing many highly skilled students. Within our first year, we had a number of students entering competitions who became Area champions and British champions. By April 2004, 4 adult students had attained Black Belt status.
Over the years, we have had many local students competing in their categories winning numerous shields, trophies & medals. We have also recently had our 100th member promoted to Black Belt status and several other members promoted to 2nd 3rd & 4th degree black belt.
At West Kirby Taekwondo, our premium training programme accommodates the beginner student as well as the more experienced to attain a high levels of ability, achievement and much more.
Tae Kwon-Do is also an excellent form of self- defence which because of its structure, promotes & improves flexibility, co-ordination, confidence, personal development, fitness and most of all its FUN!
Our adult and junior classes are designed for beginners through to advanced students helping to achieve at the highest level and fulfil their potential.We also offer Ladies ONLY & families the opportunity to enjoy learning Taekwondo together. Details of these specific classes are detailed below.

- Tiger Taekwondo (Pre-School in to Junior classes) – For our youngest members, children aged 3-6yrs
- Juniors – Children aged 7-12 yrs.
- Adults – 13 yrs +
- Ladies Only 16yrs +
- Family Classes 6+
